Cristiano Ronaldo used social media this Tuesday (3) to mourn the death of Tenerife striker Jesús de Miguel at the age of 30. The Portuguese published a message on his Instagram account after the Spanish club confirmed the news, which caused great commotion in football.

Then, Ronaldo also left a message of support for the athlete’s family.

Jesús de Miguel had been hospitalized since Monday (2), when he suffered an accidental collision with goalkeeper Jesús Owono in the final minutes of the match between Tenerife and FC Andorra, in the 12th round of the second division of the Spanish Championship. The player did not survive his injuries.
