This week’s edition of Nova Gente magazine states that there is a “secret plan for the house” where Cristiano Ronaldo was born on the island of Madeira. Even though it was “demolished almost two decades ago”, this is an initiative by the Parish of Santo Antônio, which intends to “convert this area into a new multifunctional, leisure and social space, dedicated to the history of the footballer”.
On the program ‘V+ Fama’, broadcast on V+ TVI, this Friday, September 25th, Adriano Silva Martins questioned Guilherme Castelo Branco: “What plans are these?“. The commentator responded and explained: “That area, although it was practically completely destroyed, still had a wall and as they know that there are many tourists who like to go to the place, to know the place where Cristiano Ronaldo grew up, they are going to transform it into a place, I don’t know if it will be with a football field, probably something to pay homage to Cristiano Ronaldo.“.
In turn, the presenter added: “I know there is a goal, there will be a goal“. Guilherme Castelo Branco said: “I don’t know if it will be a complete football field, but there must be things associated with Cristiano Ronaldo so that when people go there, they don’t just see a ruin and a wall, but see something alluding to Cristiano Ronaldo.“.
Adriano Silva Martins added that the area “There will also be a children’s playground” and Guilherme Castelo Branco made it clear that it will be for “population and tourists“.
