The Swedish manager ended up in the eye of the Rossoneri fans’ storm for his participation in Nike’s new super-spot for football.
Nike did it again. The sportswear brand of the famous “moustache”, which became famous in the past for memorable commercials such as “la cage”, “just do it” or “match in hell”, has launched an incredible new one in view of the upcoming 2026 World Cup USA-Mexico-Canada advertising campaign entitled “Rip the script” which openly invites young fans to “break the script” to “break the mould” and have fun with the ball at their feet.
Many illustrious faces present in this new hyper-production which includes active footballers such as Vinicius Jr. Mbappé, Van Dijk, Cristiano Ronaldo, well-known faces such as Kim Kardashian, Travis Scott, Ted Lasso and Lebron James, but also former legends such as Eric Cantona, Ronaldinho, Drogba and also the current Senior Advisor of the RedBird fund for Milan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the one who tears up the script on TV. A participation that was inevitably reshared through one’s social profiles and became viral, but what caused the anger of the Rossoneri fans to explode.
