The 16 participants of the 2027 National Men’s Volleyball League were divided into two zones, while it was officially announced by the Argentine Volleyball Federation (FeVA) that the start of the competition will be on Friday, January 8 and the dispute system of the last season will be preserved.
After obtaining promotion with the title in the Federal League, last February in San Juan, Once Unidos will be one of the participants in the second category of national volleyball.
The Parque Luro team will return to action at the national level after almost a year, despite the fact that the team was active in local tournaments and the Liga del Centro Bonaerense (Licebo), which it won after returning from a two-set disadvantage against Banco Provincia.
Once Unidos, under the technical direction of Pablo Del Coto and the captaincy of Juan Ignacio Macció, was included in Zone 1 along with Cittá (Villa Constitución), Racing (Castex), Villa Dora (Santa Fe), Libertad (San Jerónimo Norte), Pescadores (Gualeguaychú), Escuela Incorporada Mariano Moreno (EIMM) (Grand Bourg) and Gimnasia y Esgrima (Santa Fe).
The first phase will be played on two wheels, all against all in each Zone (with a local and away format) and then play-offs will be played for the title and permanence, always with home court advantage for the best-placed teams.
Zone 2 will include Obras Sanitarias (San Juan), SR Vóley Club (San Rafael), Ateneo Mariano Moreno (Catamarca), Unión Vecinal de Trinidad (San Juan), La Calera Vóley (Córdoba), Infernales (Salta), Tucumán de Gimnasia and Lafinur (San Luis).
Once Unidos will have four trips to the province of Santa Fe, one to La Pampa, one to Entre Ríos and the remaining one to Greater Buenos Aires. And they will be guaranteed seven regular phase games in the main stadium of Falkner and Roldán, plus those they can add in the play-offs. Just the format that best suits the Parque Luro team.
From the organization of the competition it was announced that all matches will be broadcast via streaming.
