Cristiano Ronaldo’s next match may be back with Portugal after yet another Al Nassr game was postponed.

Nasr were due to travel to Al Hazm in the Saudi Pro League on Friday night, but the fixture has been delayed.

In fact, all nine Round 13 fixtures have been postponed in the Pro League, including a high profile clash between Al Ittihad and Neom.

Why the Pro League postponed Round 13

The Pro League announced that this is to ease fixture congestion in response to the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) confirming that the Asian Cup will be moved from its original February start date to December 2027.

The AFC made the decision amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

Ronaldo’s Nasr have been one of the clubs most impacted by the war, with two more of their fixtures postponed due to safety reasons, and another delayed by an hour.

As such, their next match is scheduled for November 20 against Brendan Rodgers’ Al-Qadisiyah.

However, there is an international break before that league game.

That means Ronaldo’s next minutes in his quest for 1000 goals could come for his country.

Portugal play on November 14 against Denmark and 17 versus Wales, with both matches in the UEFA Nations League.

Ronaldo remains as Portugal’s captain and has already paid his fine and served a suspension for walking out of the last international camp.

Despite coach Jorge Jesus not giving Ronaldo the apology he requested, he has reportedly ‘pre-selected’ the Real Madrid legend in his initial squad for the fixtures.
