840 million viewing hours and an eightfold rise in India; live EASL games, Titan OS in 41 countries, Vizio and TiVo deals in the US

Korean FAST channels run by NEW ID (뉴아이디) have passed 840 million cumulative viewing hours as of October, across 1.4 billion sessions on 34 platforms in 96 countries. Viewing in India rose eightfold in a year.
The Seoul company, which turned seven last month, released the figures on Nov. 3 and said it is widening what it does. In September it opened the official FAST channel of the East Asia Super League in 15 countries and has streamed games live since October. It reaches 41 countries through Titan OS, the operating system on Philips TVs. In the US it is joining Vizio’s service and has signed with TiVo OS. In Taiwan it has taken over a local partner’s playout, scheduling and ad monetisation.
Philips TV licensee TP Vision dropped Google TV for Titan OS across its 2026 range in March, and 9to5Google reported that Philips appears to get a bigger share of ad revenue under Titan OS. Walmart bought Vizio for $2.3 billion in December 2024, largely to sell ads on Vizio’s TV menus and its free service WatchFree+. With free channels on the home screen now carrying manufacturers’ ad revenue, every operating system opens slots for channel suppliers to fill.
Figures released by Krit Ventures in August put NEW ID’s first-half 2026 revenue at 86% of last year’s total, and first-half exports at $7.5 million (about 10 billion won), above all of 2025. Sales grew at a 37.3% compound annual rate over the three years from 2022.
Philips, Walmart and TiVo build FAST into their own systems; NEW ID gains 41 countries and US routes
Titan OS is an independent TV operating system based in Barcelona, used on sets from Philips, AOC, JVC and Sharp. Through it NEW ID now reaches 41 countries. It has also added four FAST channels to Xiaomi TV+, Xiaomi’s free streaming service.

In the US, NEW ID is completing onboarding to bring a Korean drama channel to Vizio’s WatchFree+ for the first time. On Oct. 7, Vizio said Vizio OS was the best-selling smart TV operating system in the US in the first half of 2026, with 32 million yearly active devices, up 20%. WatchFree+ viewing hours rose 58% over the same period.
NEW ID has also signed a content supply agreement with TiVo OS. TiVo, owned by Xperi, said on Oct. 5 that its TiVo One ad platform had 6.3 million monthly active users at the end of June, up 70%, while monthly FAST viewing on TiVo Channels rose 320%

Official EASL channel in 15 countries; KBL games stream free to North America and Europe
In September NEW ID launched EASL TV, the official FAST channel of the East Asia Super League, on LG Electronics’ FAST service LG Channels, covering 15 countries across North America, Europe and Latin America.

The 2026-27 season tipped off on Oct. 3 at SM Seaside Cebu Arena in the Philippines. Twelve champion and top clubs from leagues in Korea, Japan, Chinese Taipei, the Philippines, Hong Kong and Macau take part, including the KBL’s Busan KCC Egis (부산 KCC 이지스) and Goyang Sono Skygunners (고양 소노 스카이거너스). Their Asian games now reach viewers in North America and Europe free, on a channel run by a Korean company.
The KBS WORLD channel has also extended to Europe and Latin America through LG Channels, putting a Korean broadcaster’s overseas service and professional sport on the same free channel guide.
India up eightfold, Australia threefold, Europe twofold; AI dubbing for English and Spanish
Year on year, viewing hours rose eightfold in India and threefold in Australia, and doubled in Europe and Canada. NEW ID feeds the data back into country-level scheduling and distribution. The company has said it operates more than 95% of the world’s Korean-content FAST channels.

Last August the Ministry of Science and ICT selected six consortia for an 8 billion won ($6 million) programme for AI-dubbed Korean FAST channels. NEW ID’s consortium took the largest share: more than 520 hours dubbed into English or Spanish for nine FAST channels in 13 countries. Members include nine content companies, among them CJ ENM, KT ENA, MBN and Showbox, and three technology firms, among them Gaudio Lab.
Running a partner’s channels in Taiwan; Hyundai TV Plus in cars
In Taiwan, NEW ID has set up an arrangement with a local partner under which it handles playout, scheduling, metadata and ad monetisation. It extends the company’s role to running channels for someone else, not only programming its own.
NEW ID started in October 2019 as the first in-house venture of film studio NEW (Next Entertainment World, 넥스트엔터테인먼트월드). Its first deal was a K-pop channel for Comcast’s FAST platform Xumo. Its website now lists three lines of business: FAST and AVOD solutions, AI post-production, and CTV and in-car infotainment platforms. In April 2025 it signed a media-platform contract with Hyundai Motor (현대자동차) and installed its own FAST platform, Hyundai TV Plus, in the new Sonata taxi.
Series B of 20 billion won at about 100 billion won valuation; CTV ads to double
Dealsite reported on July 6 that NEW ID was raising a 20 billion won ($14.9 million) Series B, split evenly between new and existing shares, at a valuation of around 100 billion won ($74.6 million), up from 57 billion won at its 13 billion won Series A in June 2022. A public listing is planned later. Krit Ventures bought 1 billion won ($750,000) of new shares in the round.

NEW ID plans to more than double its connected-TV advertising business with the money. Next on the calendar are completing the WatchFree+ launch, rolling out the AI-dubbed channels in 13 countries and streaming the EASL season.

“We will keep innovating as a global distribution infrastructure provider, beyond one-off content deals,” said June Park(박준경), CEO of NEW ID. “We will do our best to spread not only K-content but also K-solutions around the world.” Last year she told Electronic Times (전자신문) that “FAST is a technology that lets content flow anywhere, beyond any particular space.”
